1Put the panel online

  1. Upload everything inside the panel folder to a folder on your host, e.g. public_html/folder/. Include the hidden .htaccess files.
    Needs PHP 8.1 or newer with pdo_sqlite and curl (standard on most hosts) and HTTPS. Make the data folder writable (755, or 775 if saving fails).
  2. On nginx only, add this to your site's server { } block (Apache and LiteSpeed already use the included .htaccess): 
    location ~ /data/ { deny all; return 404; }
  3. Open it right away, e.g. https://yourhost.com/folder/. The first visit asks you to create your administrator account. There is no default login.
Updating the panel later? Upload the new files over the old ones, but never upload over data/. It holds your customers and settings.
Forgot the password? Upload tools/reset_admin.php next to config.php and open it once. Only the login is removed, and the file deletes itself.

2The panel pages

Service

DNS ServersYour IPTV provider's server addresses, listed in order.
MAC AccessYour customers. Each box shows its MAC address on the login screen.
VPN ProfilesOpenVPN servers: upload the .ovpn file or paste its text.

App content

Menu sectionsTurn each section of the app's left menu on or off. TV always stays on. Boxes update within a minute.
Manage groups from a phoneOn the Menu sections page. On a device: Settings → Playlists → the playlist → Manage groups → 📱 Manage from phone (hidden when turned off in the panel). A QR code lets the phone show, hide, lock and reorder groups. Optional phone page address hides your panel address.
Sports GuideThe sports schedule with TV channels and live scores. See step 3.
Stremio & DiscoverThe Discover menu and Stremio add-ons for "More sources". See step 4.
AdsImage ads when the app opens. Optional start and end date and time for each ad.

Settings

App settingsTiviMate's own settings (General, EPG, Playback, TV guide) for every box or one box. Choose "once" or "enforce".
External EPGXMLTV guide addresses added to every box (or chosen playlists), no typing on the remote.
Expiry alertA message on the TV a few days before a customer's account ends.
AppearanceThe app's colors and an optional background image (with a darken slider).

3Sports Guide

The panel downloads the schedule and stores it on your host. The boxes only download it from your panel.

  1. Open Sports Guide. A premium TheSportsDB key is already included (Included premium key in use). You can paste your own premium key instead.
  2. Pick the schedule source:

  3. Choose the time zone, sports, number of days and, if you want, only your leagues. Press Save Sports settings.
  4. Press Update sports data now and keep the page open until it says Done (about 1–3 minutes).
Recommended: add a cron job every 30 minutes. Sports Guide → Automatic updates shows the exact command for your panel.

4Discover & More sources

DiscoverAn extra item in the app's side menu with movies and TV shows: Home / Movies / TV Shows tabs, search, details, trailers, cast, resume, audio and subtitles.
More sourcesA button after Play on movie and show pages. It lists links from your Stremio add-ons, and they play in TiviMate's player.
  1. Open Stremio & Discover, turn Discover on and set the Menu name.
  2. Paste your TMDB API key (free at themoviedb.org → Settings → API). Discover needs it.
  3. Choose the Language and Subtitle languages first.
  4. Add your Stremio add-ons and put them in order. Use Try a title to check what the app will find.

5Build your app

  1. Extract the whole zip first (right-click → Extract All…). Do not run it from inside the zip.
  2. Open the app folder and double-click BUILD MY APP.bat. If it fails, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.
  3. Answer the questions (press Enter to keep the value shown):
    1 Panel address
    Your panel folder from step 1, e.g. https://yourhost.com/folder
    2 App name
    The name shown under the icon.
    3 Logo
    A window opens to pick it. PNG or JPG, 512×512 or bigger; a square logo with a transparent background looks best.
    4 Icon zoom
    100 fits the whole logo in the round icon. 150–180 makes a wide logo fill it.
    5 App version
    Press Enter to keep 5.3.3 (recommended).
    6 Package name
    Press Enter to keep ar.tvplayer.tv, which replaces TiviMate on the box. To install this app next to TiviMate instead, type another name that is exactly 14 characters (same length as ar.tvplayer.tv), small letters, numbers and dots, e.g. one.pm.tvimate.
    About the version number. This app is based on TiviMate 5.3.3, and its version should remain 5.3.3. Changing it is not recommended unless the kit is updated to an official new TiviMate release. A version you enter is remembered for later builds. Boxes cannot install a lower version over a higher one without uninstalling the app first.
    Your logo is used for the launcher icon, the TV banner, the menu logo, the login screen and the start screen.
  4. Wait 1–5 minutes. When it says DONE, the app\output folder opens with:
    • Your_Name.apk: your app
    • icon_preview.png: how the icon looks on Google TV. If the text is cut off, build again with a different zoom.
Your answers are saved, so the next build is just Enter, Enter, Enter, Enter, Enter, Enter.

6Install & update

🔑 Keep app\keys\ safe

The first build creates your signing key there (ar.tvplayer.tv.jks and its password in ar.tvplayer.tv.txt). Every update must be signed with the same key, or it won't install over the old app.

Back it up and never share it. If the key is lost, boxes have to uninstall the app (losing their playlists) before they can install a new build.
Already have a key your boxes use? Put it in app\keys\ as ar.tvplayer.tv.jks, and create ar.tvplayer.tv.txt with two lines: alias: … and password: …
